The CLARK Alumni Magazine has recently been honored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) through their Communications Contest.
Clark is a part of District I of CASE
which is composed of over 300 schools throughout New England and Eastern Canada. The CASE Awards recognize many different accomplishments among schools’ communications.
The award categories included recruiting packages, advertising, fund raising materials, digital media, magazines, newsletters, posters, publication packages, and websites. Clark was the only Worcester school to be recognized.
Among the distinctions bestowed to Clark are Honorable Mention for the university’s recruiting package and the Silver Award (no Gold was given) in the category of Best Overall Magazine in the 30,000-74,999 circulation class.
CLARK alumni magazine has many very interesting features and articles relating to what is happening at Clark, as well as accomplishments of its alumni. Clark finished ahead of Wentworth Institute of Technology and Wellesley College in this ranking. Clark also finished second in the “Best Design” category behind Suffolk University.
In terms of electronic alumni newsletters/newspapers, Clark earned an honorable mention along with the University of Rhode Island.
Clark’s recruitment poster earned silver in the poster category behind Northeastern University and ahead of Boston University.
The recognition that Clark received will surely foster the publicity that the school receives and the number of high school students that consider Clark during their college decision process.
The CASE awards are given annually and Clark seems to be in a good position to take home some more honors next year.
